It seems like changes to most settings require the whole app being redeployed in order to apply.
In some cases that seems (to me, an ignorant novice!) unecessary.
For example, I just updated the init commands I want to run when the app is being deployed, and the panel flagged that I had to press Deploy to apply the changes. That felt a bit circular.
Perhaps there could be a review of what changes are okay to just save, and which ones really do require a deploy as they need to change the currently live app.
Just wanted to let you know about this new change: https://roadmap.ploi.cloud/projects/2-panel/items/100-deploy-without-actual-deployment-for-environment-changes
There is now a 'redeploy' button which only updates the configuration without building. This could save you a lot of time!
For now we've excluded the label and tags as "not required to deploy". Obviously, the panel tells you to deploy, but it'snot a requirement. In fact, you can click the blue badge and dismiss it! 🥰
