I am using the Tools API which is nice but I need to use a personal access token with broad access. A scoped access token would be a lot better to allow me to be less concerned, ideally just the Tools API access.
Merged API token expiry length into this item \n\n Created by: Alex Bouma \n\n API tokens are currently only valid for 6 months which is understandable but a little short and I'm also not sure if it happens but ideally you get a notification in advance when a token is going to expire.
Especially if Tools API scoped tokens become a thing having to rotate it every 6 months (especially without a notification) is going to be annoying real quick.
