# Enable setting config for Redis instances

It would be good to be able to set Redis config options in the CP.

In particular I'd like to configure a redis setting of `maxmemory-policy volatile-lru` and an appropriate `maxmemory` limit, so that Redis clears out keys with a TTL rather than going OOM.

You can now set this eviction policy when creating or editing the resources of a Redis (or Valkey) service!
